Reflection on NCAF
On Wednesday I went to Tebwanimwaneka Primary School since it
was a place where my lecturer at KTC previously pointed me to stay at. I went in there in
order to discover further strategies, techniques, and to do micro-teaching if
it is necessary. It was the most stressful profession especially working with
young children.
In fact, prior to teaching, I was setting myself up developing
a plan on Environmental Science Subject. To begin with, I do not have the
foggiest idea what to do so I alluded back to the syllabuses and teachers guide
for guiding me on the most proficient method to develop a lesson plan. Subsequent
to alluding back to it, I concoct with my topic which is Earth, Sun, Moon and
Tides. Later, creating materials that are align with this subject to increment
understudy commitment and improve their understanding, so they have the option
to partake in group and individual activity.
In addition, during delivery, there were some failures I made
since I was nervous yet attempt my absolute best to cope with this sort of
circumstance and obviously, I made it till the end. Tebuanga (my associate
teacher) mentioned that I am doing great, but the thing that interrupted me is nervously
which made me forget to mention the learning outcomes. For such, I feel honored
to hear comments and feedback from her which empowered and enlighten me to
correct myself and to make sure not to repeat it again next time. However, from
my end, I could see the significance of NCAF along with syllabuses that can
easily assist me to create and organized plans and resources prior to educating
students.
Furthermore, from everything I prepare which are the lesson
plan and teaching aids help students increase their understanding and skills
through interaction, cooperation and communicating with their peers. They are
well engaged enjoying that moment.
To conclude, there were numerous obstacles that will be face by
an intelligent teacher along with students, but prominently is to allude back
to the guidelines. They went through a lot, stresses and difficulties, since it
is not an easy errand but a weighting task they continuously carry on their
shoulders. However, as a teacher, you ought to face all the consequences when
entering this field.
