On Monday, the 17th of April 2023, first in the morning before educators along with their students went to their different classrooms, they were assembled for the devotion and announcements for some matters for students to know. They converge in the playing field since they had no mwaneaba to gather under. The assembly started at half pass eight and break off at about 9 o’clock where all students went back to their classes. However, the session started at fifteen minutes pass nine.

While entering the classroom they knew what to do before the teacher told them. They automatically gather in the middle of the class as they already knew that they will be doing a lesson warm up which is a multiplication, and formulas for finding the triangle, square, trapezium, and rectangle. As they were in class six, they should always remember and memorizing the multiplication of 3 up to 12, since their teacher already reminded them to study the whole formulas along with multiplications.

Their teacher started questioning each of them. He expected from them to answer the question he posted, but if not, he will punish them by smack in their hands. Some of them responded to hypothetical questions posed by their teacher diligently and meaningfully and mentally reason out the solution to a word problem without the manipulation or use of materials, whereas some could not be able to think systematically to the questions. Even they got punished, but they willingly to play that game. It seems that they were really interested as it could engaged each of them in imaginative activities as many of them raised their hands and wanting to answer questions.

Furthermore, when their game was over, they were told to do their activities. He wrote the activity on the board and told them to do it within five minutes. They were bored doing their individual activity. Some of them talking to each other, certain were playing around and made a lot of noises mostly boys and some students start doing the task they were given by their teacher. Later on, when the time was not enough, he goes through the activity on the board. From what I had seen, students preferred participating in the game than doing the activity.

Therefore, this are the learning behaviors the children exhibit during the teaching and learning process. They performed well and preferred doing the warmup activities than doing their individual activities since playing is their favorite hobby. This is the new ability and skills I just acquired at the moment he delivered it. He had numerous techniques that can attract the attention of every single student. He was really intelligent in communication with students which will change the behavior of a child. However, I am looking forward to the following day to his delivering to see what techniques he will come up with.
