On Friday 14th April 2023, I went back to the class where I was at in the first place. All students gather together in the middle of the classroom where a teacher lead them. They were obedient continuously wanting to be steered and leaded by older people even thou approximately of them looks naughty. This kind of task which is teaching was the most taxing chore, but this teacher constantly had a method to guide children inside the classroom. He knew how to deal with their habit since he aware with them. However, I gained some techniques in teaching from him during session hours and a way to cooperate well with students.

In fact, when delivering his lesson to students he did first a warmup which is a Drill and Summary. He applied a new strategy to check each student memory. How good and bad memory they had. Are they good in memorizing the story or not. He told students to wait outside the classroom while he was writing a summary of a story about five to six sentences on the black board then call on children to come in. He explained in clear details about the activity they will do next, later on he read a text with them on the board he had already wrote. They read that text four to five times then he scrubbed the first sentence. They re-read again the whole five sentences without the first sentence and rub the second sentence. They re-recite again the sentences till the end of the text and rubbed again the third sentence until all the text on the board had all vanished. Then he passed them papers and told them to write the sentences they read ages ago on it from the beginning till the end, to check how good their memory in memorizing the sentences and to check which student are the slow ones, fast and which students need assistance.

Moreover, students were interested in the activity, as they could performed well and did what they had told by their teacher. Some students had a good memory in remembering, they got the whole sentences correct, but there were some small mistakes in spellings. There were some students who had bad memory mostly boys. They jot only two sentences and forgot the rest. This strategy is more fun and enjoyable to students since they could accomplish the task given by their lecture.

Therefore, this technique I just adapt from this teacher seems more fun and entertaining to students. It was the best method to check students’ memories. This teacher was very skillful in teaching as I can see from the first day I came and observed him. Thus, teaching is the most difficulty mission that facilitators went through particularly working with youngsters in primary schools. Teachers are truly the backbone of society as they offer guidance and dedication and give young people the power of education from what I had seen from my associate teacher.
